OUR ETWINNING TURKISH TEAM STARTED WORKING



Our Turkish Team is getting ready for our eTwinning project. We are holding Zoom meetings and learning about Web 2.0 tools and Twinspace.

PEDAGOGIC FUNDAMENTALS

 PEDAGOGIC FUNDAMENTALS:

·         We are going to organise group activities for our students to improve their communications skills in English,

·         Our students will find an opportunity to practise English in real life via this project,

·         They will learn English is not a foreign language only used at school.


PROJECT PLAN:

JANUARY:

·         Introducing project members webinar,

·         Happy New Year World!

·         Logo competition,

FEBRUARY:

·         My typical day activity,

·         Snapwords competition,

·         Creating e-book on free time activities,

MARCH:

·         Introducing your city and country,

·         Chat activities,

·         Zoom meetings,

APRIL:

·         Introducing traditional foods,

·         My e-magazine,

Goodbye messages.


EXPECTED RESULTS OF THE PROJECT:

·         Our students will have learnt that English is not only a school subject but is used among people in real life,

·         Project teams will have learnt how to use some Web 2.0 tools,

·         Project teams will have enjoyed distance learning,

·         Our students will have produced some creative products,

·         We will have learned about different cultures,

Our students will have used English actively.


 

 IT TOOLS THAT WILL BE USED WHILE DOING THE PROJECT:

We are going to use some IT tools make our project more interactive and visual. Here are some of them:

Kahoot, Padlet, Prezi, Zoom, Wix, Logomaker, Canva, Surveymonkey, different movie maker programmes etc.  We can add some others while doing the project.

 AIMS OF THE PROJECT:

·         To enhance the success on distance learning,

·         Accommodate ourselves to the changes in schools,

·         Absorbing the importance of wearing a mask, keeping social distance and hygiene,

·         Doing cross-curricular works on foreign languages,

·         To make the distance learning enjoyable and feed it with creativity,

·         To make our students use English actively,

·         To learn about different cultures,

·         To collaborate as much as possible,

·         To introduce our students to their foreign agemates,

·         To make our students take an active part on TwinSpace and encourage them to organise activities,

·         To enjoy learning English.

PROJECT INTRODUCTION


 PROJECT INTRODUCTION:

Most of the students have met distance learning under the conditions of pandemic process. We are going to focus on the changes in schools, the importance of wearing a mask, keeping social distance and hygiene. On the other hand, we are going to determine the common points of our school curricula and study on it together. We are going to try to make the distance learning an enjoyable event via Web 2.0 tools and provide the enhancement of the creativity of our students by doing cross-cultural activities and the integration of web tools to online education.
